Located just a short distance from the town centre and adjacent to Colne Way, Watford Driving Test Centre is easily accessible for learners across Hertfordshire. With the M1 and key A roads nearby, it’s a convenient choice whether you’re local or travelling in from surrounding areas. Want to get familiar with the area beforehand? Please note: parking is only permitted in the designated test bays, and you should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment. 

How to Book a Driving Test at Watford

  1. Ensure Eligibility

    • You must have passed your theory test.

    • You should have lived in England, Wales, or Scotland for at least 185 days in the last 12 months. 

  2. Gather Required Information

    • UK driving licence number

    • Credit or debit card

    • Driving instructor’s personal reference number (if applicable)

  4. Select Test Centre
