A note for all ADI’s, I recently attended Diane and Chris’s workshop covering Anxiety. What an eye opener! I can highly recommend it. It has changed the way I approach my pupils in regard to their thinking and just what is going on in their heads when they are in the car and how their feelings and emotions affect their learning. Along with this bundle of courses, I now feel confident that I am equipped with tools to help give support to pupils experiencing nerves and anxiety. I have a lot to learn and absorb and practise but at least I’m now on right track! Thanks Diane, Chris!

Diane and Chris were amazing! I’m a driving instructor and this course really opened my eyes, really helpful techniques to help with nerves and anxiety. We all know learning to drive can be hard but I know that the techniques that I learned on the course is something I will use everyday, even on myself. I would highly recommend doing this course it would benefit you and your pupils, it really makes you think on a different level. I can’t thank them enough.

I started using the online course a few weeks ago and it’s reaping rewards already. TFT is amazing. All my pupils are now encouraged to do it. I’ve been struggling recently to get my pupils through the final phase of their development (Test day) and today it’s started to bear fruit. 2 first time passes for pupils who were really stressing out about taking their tests?? one of them being a clean sheet. Thank you so much Diane and the team. This is an invaluable tool that I’ll be using from now on.

I recently attended Diane and Chris’s workshop in Manchester. I had attended it previously and it’s such a fantastic day of learning, presented brilliantly and so much fun. I must say the changes to the workshop and the new techniques developed by Diane and Chris have made the workshop even better. There’s added value with the online course and ebooks that can be purchased also and if like me, you’re extremely lucky, Diane might remove your anxieties towards public speaking!! I presented a BTEC4 two weeks after this course and thanks to Diane I’d gone from a nervous wreck! To a machine devoid of feelings ?. Such a strange reality on the day to feel….absolutely nothing. No nerves, no stress, no anxiety. Just completely level.

Such a brilliant day…..we will be running another workshop March 2020.

I’ve just purchased this course as CPD whilst not teaching! Watched all the videos in every course at one sitting! The wealth of information is incredible; it’s clear that Diane has done a great deal of research into how people learn, and when I return to teaching, I will be putting this into practice. I already have pupils in mind that will benefit from the ‘psychological’ side of it, to help them get over their anxieties. Can’t wait to try it on them.

Having only qualified in December 2019 this has been a difficult year for me, and feel incredibly anxious about teaching again. I saw Diane speak at the Intelligent Instructor conference last October and had the fortune to meet her partner Chris afterward. He is an inspiration and has an incredible outlook. I bought this course to help to get me back on track and also to help my nervous learners. Thank you, Chris and Di, you have made such a difference!

I’ve been an ADI for over 20 years, done a plethora of courses over the years, and didn’t think there was much new to learn to be honest. How wrong I was. I have to say that I was incredibly skeptical, especially of the very bizarre TFT (thought field therapy), but having just tried one of the techniques on my daughter who always mixes up her left and right, she can now remember it! Incredible. Looking forward to trying this with pupils.

Wish I hadn’t bothered! No way am I going to tell pupils to ‘tap’ themselves to get rid of anxiety. Never heard of anything so stupid. Not even going to bother looking at the rest. Waste of money.

I bought this course in April, thinking that I’d be putting it into practice in the not too distant future; I was wrong about that! Lockdown gave me an opportunity to use this to further my own skills as an ADI, and I have to confess that I wasn’t convinced, and I didn’t think that learners would be up for trying these techniques, but in all honesty, I’ve been very surprised! I signed up for the ‘PRO’ version of the nerves course and gave my pupils access to it whilst they weren’t able to do lessons, and the feedback from them has been really positive. Some just refused to try the techniques as they thought they were daft, but those that did report that they felt much calmer thinking about their driving test.

I’m a PDI coming into the industry at probably the worst time ever! My anxiety levels have been right up there; I’ve no idea when/if I’m doing my part 3, and stress levels have been through the roof. I bought this course as recommended by my trainer who has used Diane’s techniques before with his other PDIs, and I can’t believe how different I feel. I can’t change the situation, so why stress about it? I understand now how stress hormones affect me and how to calm them right down. If I said that this course has changed my life, then that would seem like a total exaggeration, but in all honesty, it has, I’m no longer worrying about my part 3, I know that once I’ve completed all my training, I won’t be nervous on the day, as I have techniques to remove any anxiety that may surface. Thank you, Dianne. Once I’m qualified, I will definitely be using your stuff with my pupils.

I was fortunate to attend one of Diane & Chris’s workshops last year, which gave me a whole new perspective on my approach to helping not only my nervous learners but also myself for my own SC, which I always dread. My SC is fast approaching, so I’ve just bought this course to help, and I’ll post an update afterward! UPDATE: SC day yesterday, used the techniques, felt a bit nervous, but nothing like as bad as usual also used the techniques with my pupil to keep her calm. Have to admit, I almost enjoyed it! Grade A retained for another few years!

I qualified 18 months ago and although instructor testing is on the back burner due to Covid, I’m already worrying about my standards check! A friend who is also an instructor swears by Diane’s methods and says she has been using them for years. I bought this course so I can prepare myself mentally, so when I do get my sc, I’ll be ready for it. I’ve only watched a few of the videos so far, but already, it makes so much sense. I understand why I get worked up, but also now, how I can reduce my anxiety. Still think I’ll be a bit nervous on the day, but I hope that by using these videos I’ll be able to stay calmer than I was on my Part 3!

As a trainer of PDIs, I am constantly looking for ways to improve how I deliver my teaching, and this was a real eye-opener. Initially very sceptical, I can now say, having seen the effects that these strategies have had on my trainees, that I am a convert. Peculiar: yes, bizarre: yes, thought-provoking: definitely, effective: incredibly. Did I feel a bit of a plonker telling my trainees that if they ‘tapped’ parts of their body that they wouldn’t be nervous? Absolutely. But did it work: yes! From initial scepticism I am now a convert and will be recommending this course to all my PDIs.

I found the information on teaching pupils with dyslexia and dyspraxia helpful, and the instructor training manual contains some good information. However, all this nerve stuff is beyond me. If they can drive, then they shouldn’t be nervous. I put them for test when I know they are ready, simple as that.

Just read the review above; glad he wasn’t my instructor when I was learning to drive! Every day I have at least one learner who is anxious. I bought this course last year in lockdown with the idea that it would improve my skills when returning to teaching. It sounds like a bold claim, but the difference in my pupils is amazing. I have got 12 out of 21 pupils now signed up to Driving Test Nerves Pro (so they can all use the techniques themselves) and the difference in all but two of them is incredible. It’s like I’m teaching different people. The two that have shown no improvement are quite frankly the ones that can’t be bothered to watch the videos or do anything to help themselves!

I’m a PDI in the middle of my training and was recommended to buy this course by my trainer. I’ve already spent a lot of money on training and really didn’t want to spend more! Glad that I did though… I’ve learned so much; really opened my eyes to not only how people learn, but also about my own emotions, how I have the habit of ‘self-sabotaging myself during my own training. I can’t wait to get on the road and put all this knowledge into practice with ‘real’ pupils.

I saw Diane and Chris on a zoom session and thoroughly enjoyed their presentation. Totally different from anything I’d seen before! The course itself is great, and the only reason for not giving it 5* is that although the techniques are great, I want to be able to share the videos with my pupils who are anxious. ***UPDATE*** Alan from NDP saw my comment and contacted me to say that I can sign up to the PRO version and give my nervous pupils access to the Driving Test Nerves online course and eBook that goes with it. Brilliant!! I now have 8 pupils signed up who are all really benefitting.

Diane did a zoom session for my local association and terrified us all! She told us that we were each going to have to ‘present’ a Part 3 briefing! I felt sick at the thought of it. She didn’t actually make us do it, but I understood then how quickly my adrenalin levels could rise! If I could be like this doing a pretend presentation, what was I going to be like on my actual Part 3? I’ve read the How to beat Part 2/3/SC nerves & anxiety eBook that comes with this course, and am watching the video demonstrations of the techniques. I feel so much calmer now. If anyone has a Part 3 coming up, I can’t recommend this course highly enough.

I have several pupils with dyslexia, and they all muddle up left and right. I don’t know how it works, but the technique for stopping pupils muddling up left and right works every time! I saw Diane demonstrate the ‘Tappy Hand Dance’ in a video on one of the FB groups, and thought it was worth a try! Since then I’ve used all the information in the course to help my pupils, and have seen a great improvement in all of them.

I hate standards checks with a vengeance. Always have and thought I always would! I saw Diane present at the Intelligent Instructor/ADINJC conference in 2019 about Part 3 and standards check nerves and was fascinated by her approach as a therapist. I’ve recommended her techniques since then to my pupils, never occurred to me to use them for my own standards check! Soon as I had notification of my sc, I bought this course and for the first time have experienced Diane’s techniques for myself. Pupils told me how much calmer they felt on their own tests, but I didn’t appreciate just how good they were. Can’t say I was cool as a cucumber, but certainly reduced anxiety, for the first time on a sc I felt in control of myself and scored 7 higher than on my last one… now an A, not a B!!

I brought this course having read the reviews thinking that it would help me with my Part 3 as I get very nervouse but Ive watched the videos I just canrt see how these suppose ‘’amazing’ methods work. ‘Tapping’ yourself to take away your nervouse? Feels like Ive been conned here! I was led to belief that this would help, but no ways will this help me so not worth even trying only to be dissapointed when yet again something dont deliver what it promises.I would have given it 1 star and warned people not to be conned, but I’ve given it 2 stars as the stuff on dyslexia is good

Can I give it 10 stars to make up for that ridiculous comment above? A PDI not even giving the techniques a try? What is she going to be like as an ADI?! I bought this course having attended a workshop run by Chris and Diane a few years ago when I was blown away by their techniques. I was one of Diane’s guinea pigs for a demonstration, and wow!! I was sceptical that the technique would work on me – a big burly 6’3” bloke! But Diane did her ‘witch’ thing on me – you’ll see the arm testing stuff in her videos, and had everyone in stitches!! I told her straight that it wouldn’t work on me… only to be proved very wrong. You have to try the techniques for yourself, otherwise, you just won’t comprehend how effective they are. I had a fear of flying, which Diane ‘cured’ within about five minutes. I hadn’t been able to go on a plane in over 20 years (due to a horrendous flight with awful turbulence) and just 3 months after using Diane’s ‘’tapping” I went abroad on holiday; no panic, no fear, totally chilled at the airport. I sat there waiting for the anxiety to come but it just didn’t. I got this course so I could remind myself of the techniques, and now have 5 pupils signed up on the Pro version who are all using the techniques to help them to get over their nerves.

I teach auto and take on many pupils who just couldn’t get on with manual. Some of them say they thought they would never be able to learn and get very anxious. I saw Chris on zoom during the last lockdown, and everything he said really resonated with me. It was like he knew all of my pupils personally! I’ve already got Driving Test Nerves Pro and signed all my pupils up to it, and every one of them has shown a marked improvement. Less anxiety, increased confidence, and best of all, they are starting to believe that they can do this! I bought this course as I want to learn more about how the mind works and how I can put all these different techniques into practice with my pupils and I’m certainly not disappointed.

I run a small franchise of 6 instructors and we have all been using Driving Test Nerves Pro with our pupils, and found it really helpful (a great selling point for us, offering it to all of our learners) and I have today purchased this course. So far, I’ve downloaded the eBooks and watched some of the videos, and have to say I’m very impressed with the production quality. I teach several pupils with dyslexia and one with dyspraxia and they are struggling to remember sequences so I’m going to try some of the strategies in this course to see if it helps.

I passed my Part 3 on the first attempt having been recommended to Diane by my trainer. My trainer was brilliant, but I was so nervous. I did a one-on-one session with Diane and couldn’t believe how relaxed and calm I was afterward. Before the session, all I could focus on was all the things I was going to mess up on during my Part 3, but Diane taught me how I could change my language to change my emotion. I left my ‘Chimp’ at home (you’ll have to watch the course to understand this, but if anyone has seen Diane or read/watched her, you’ll know exactly what I mean!) and although I was naturally apprehensive, as I had a lot riding on passing, I knew that I was in control of my emotions, not the other way round, and this gave me such confidence. My pupil was also nervous, as she didn’t want to let me down, so for the two lessons before my Part 3, both I and my pupil did Diane’s techniques! Thank you, Diane, couldn’t have done it without you.

I attended one of Diane and Chris’s online zoom sessions and was captivated! What they said just made so much sense, and since then I’ve been using their techniques with my nervous pupils for the last few weeks. I’ve left it until now to leave a review as I wanted to see if the techniques did in fact work. OMG, don’t they just! It sounds like an exaggeration to say I think I’m teaching different pupils. Gone is the ‘I hate roundabouts’, gone is the panic at hill starts, no more ‘I can’t do this, all to be replaced with a ‘can-do attitude. Thank you both for opening up an ‘old timer’s’ eyes to a whole new approach

Having been an ADI for over 30 years, I thought I’d seen everything, but this stuff is like nothing I’ve seen before. If an ex-army hardened sceptic like me can be convinced, then it has to be good. When I spoke to Diane, she explained that she was trained in the same techniques that help soldiers with PTSD, so I was naturally curious, as I had witnessed this first hand. If you feel anxious about your Part 3 as a PDI, or standards check as an ADI, I can thoroughly recommend Diane’s techniques.

I’ve been a trainer for over 20 years and first came across Diane when she ran a workshop in 2012/13 for TTC, who run the NDORS courses. The majority of the delegates were highly sceptical, but after a few demonstrations with the most sceptical ones on the course, it didn’t take long to convince everyone how effective her techniques were. I’ve recently returned to teaching learners and bought this course to brush up on my own knowledge and skills, and to remind myself of Diane’s techniques. Worth every penny. Whether you’re long in the tooth like me, or just starting out, this course has something for everyone.

I’ve had two Part 3s cancelled due to lockdowns, last chance to pass and the pressure on! Every time I go by the test centre, I keep thinking ‘that will be me soon, and feeling sick at the thought of it. I spoke about this with my trainer, and he suggested I get this course, as not only will it help me to understand the psychology behind teaching, but also to help with my own anxiety. I’ve been using the techniques for two weeks now, just a few minutes each day, and I went past the test centre today, and I can honestly say, I felt no anxiety. I can only describe it as feeling a total lack of emotion. Don’t ask me how it works, but it does. Part 3 in two weeks, and I already feel like an emotional weight has been lifted off me.
