To book your theory test in the UK, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Before booking, make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • You are at least 17 years old (16 if you receive or have applied for the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment).
  • You hold a valid provisional driving licence.

You’ll need the following information:

Go to the official DVSA website to book your theory test:

You may be refused entry and lose your fee. Always arrive at least 30 minutes early.

9. How do I get my result?
You’ll receive your result at the test centre straight after completing the test.

You must wait at least 3 working days before booking another test.
